About
From Our Dairy Farm to Yours
At Silver Maple Company, we’re dairy farmers ourselves, so we understand what matters when choosing products for your farm. Based in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, we supply cow mattresses, rubber flooring, and bypass fats to help fellow farmers care for their herds and get the most out of their operations.
We focus on finding quality products at competitive prices and standing behind what we sell.
A Business Built on Firsthand Experience
Silver Maple Company began in 2016 when owner James Huber came across cow mattresses at the Keystone Farm Show. He wanted to try them on his own farm, but no local dealer was available. So, he purchased some for himself, ordered a few extras, and started selling them to other farmers.
What began as a way to meet a need on his own farm gradually grew into a business serving other dairy operations. By 2018, James had begun developing his own cow mattress systems based on what he’d learned about the demands of different barn setups.
In 2019, Silver Maple expanded into bypass fats for dairy cattle. Today, we supply products to local farms as well as dairy operations and feed mills in other states.
Products Chosen With Farmers in Mind
We know dairy farmers have to watch their costs, and quality matters just as much as price.
That’s why James works directly with suppliers and has developed his own product lines. It helps us keep pricing competitive while offering products we believe in. For certain flooring applications, we can also provide custom options to fit your barn.
Whether you’re replacing cow mattresses, looking for rubber alley flooring, or comparing bypass fats, we’ll help you understand your options and find what works for your farm.
A Small Business With a Personal Approach
Silver Maple Company is a family-run business. James runs the company with help from his son, who assists with installations and warehouse work. They also continue to operate their own dairy farm.
When you call Silver Maple, you’re talking with someone who knows the products firsthand and understands what it’s like to run a dairy farm.
